This early UK 1st MONO pressing dates from August 1966 release on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 7009
This pressing contains the alternate mix of 'Tomorrow Never Knows', ONLY available on this early pressing.
Both labels have the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd...' worded rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is in the centre of the side 2 label.
Matrices: XEX 605-2 & XEX 606-1
Stamper codes: 1/GH & 1/RT
Vinyl weight: 160g
Housed in a front laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover with a small mono front indicator.
Complete with original plain white 'Patents Applied For' inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
Labels: VERY GOOD +
A clean, bright set with a number of light spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Both playing surfaces are clean & glossy bearing a couple of light surface scuffs and some wispy micro-hairlines beneath halogen light but no major issues.
Audio: VERY GOOD +This early copy has received a moderate amount of play but all tracks play well with no major defects. Our play-check detected a few light clicks on the introduction to 'Love You Too' and 'Yellow Submarine' but no jumps, repeats or any other distractions.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
A clean & fully intact example with light handling & storagewear and no significant or major defects.
Inner-sleeve: GOOD
