Description

This exceptional copy of this groundbreaking album dates from its day-of-release on August 5th 1966.

Pressed for one day only this pressing with its 'XEX 606-1' side 2 matrix contains the alternate take of the album's best track 'Tomorrow Never Knows', which has never been made available since.

The disc carries the standard yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 7009

Both labels have the 'Sold in UK...' text and the 'The Gramophone Co.' rims.

The 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the cente of the side 1 label.

Matrices: XEX 605-2 & XEX 606-1

Stamper codes: 1/P & 1/AP

Vinyl weight: 155g

Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover.

Complete with its original EMI TEX inner-sleeve.


Vinyl Condition 

Side 1 is VG. Has some scuffing and spider trails, record removal from inner bag

Side 2 is VG. Has some scuffing and spider trails, record removal from inner bag

Nice and clean labels, hardly any spindle wear


Sleeve condition 

Sleeve is intact, triple fold overs. Some stainage around the fold backs. Has some slight wear in the openings.

Nice front. No tears or rips and a great readable spine
