Description

The Beatles - Revolver UK 1st press MONO LP released in 1966 on the original Yellow & Black Parlophone label, Cat. No PMC 7009. This is the rarer TRUE 1st press with the Remix 11 of Tomorrow Never Knows on Side 2 which was quickly substituted for the correct mix during production.

Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve with patents pending text.

Matrix numbers: Side 1 XEX 605-2, Side 2 XEX 606-1

Stampers: Side 1 5 RM, Side 2 1 OR

Cover is in Very Good overall condition with a few light laminate creases and some age yellowing spots, one on Paul's cheek and one on Ringo's chin. Some rubbing and slight discolouration is evident to the flipbacks.

The labels are in VG condition with some spindle marks evident.

The disc is in VG condition with some surface marks and a couple of scratches. There is a light scratch on Side 1 that does not affect play. However the scratch across Dr Robert on Side 2 can be felt and is audible with a click in the track. There are no marks that affect play over Tomorrow Never Knows which is the principal reason you would want this album (apart from its obvious rarity) and the mix is noticeably different on this track.
