Description
The Beatles Revolver vinyl album, released on Capitol Records (p)1966, Stereo. Catalogue number PCS 7009, Matrix numbers YEX 605-5-1-1-0 and YEX 606-4
Revolver is the seventh album by The Beatles. The album showcased a number of new stylistic developments which would become more pronounced on later albums. Many of the tracks on Revolver are are marked by an electric guitar-rock sound, in contrast with their previous, folk inspired, Rubber Soul. The album was released before their last tour in August 1966, but citing reasons such as many of the tracks being too complex to perform with live instruments rather than the production techniques of George Martin in the studio, notably Tomorrow Never Knows, this album was not performed live in any promotional way.
This album is in very good condition. On the front sleeve, on the bridge of the nose and his left cheek, George Harrison has a fingerprint scuff on them, they might perhaps wash off carefully, but this has been left to the buyer's discretion. There is minimal creasing to the corners, slight pressure has obviously been applied to them in age from storage and playing, and it is at no hindrance to the art work and sleeve condition. The vinyl is in very good condition, no scratches or scuffs
