Description
Revolver by the Beatles.
UK mono standard first pressing to the best of my knowledge. An early example as evidenced by track B4 *Dr Robert* listing on both sleeve & label. Later copies saw the label & then sleeve corrected to *Doctor Robert*

Firstly, the record:
Visually very nice. Both labels are clean & unmarked except a tiny bit of spindle wear & some tape residue on side A. Playing surface wise there's some faint sleeve removal lines on either side & a small but slightly nastier knock on side B (see picture). It's nice & clean too. It looks like it's been played but generally properly looked after.
I have play tested this record (no *visual testing only* nonsense) & it sounds as deep & warm as a nicely drawn bath- just like original mono copies should. No jumps or skips & without even much surface noise between tracks. The only deterioration I found of note was a little crackle on Here, There & Everywhere. This is pretty common on this song & I personally didn't find it to detract much from my overall enjoyment of the record.
Secondly, the sleeve:
G & L tri- flipback.
A lovely example. Strong, clean & basically unmolested with just a tiny bit of foxing on the edge on John's face & a little nick on the spine. The pictures tell a thousand words.
Original emitex inner sleeve is present in superb condition too.
Further notes;
KT tax code on side A.
In summary- not a vault copy but a pretty bloody decent one at a reasonable starting price- no reserve.
