THE BEATLES - RUBBER SOUL
* Rare copy of this on Odeon Stereo with white and red label, German Export.
* Pressed in Germany in 1965 for EXPORT only, this special edition of The Beatles' debut album was most sold in U.S. Army bases.
* It was cut in Germany from the UK mastertapes and bears a gold-rimmed red & white Odeon label: SMO 84066 with YEX 178-2 & 179-1 matrix numbers.
* Vinyl plays well throughout, the music can be heard clearly over light background noise. Overall G+ condition.

** To better understand my grading, I use the Record Collector's Grading system which is as below:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. If records are opened, but otherwise mint, I will rate them as EX, but only in this instance.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. Passable as VG with only a couple of instances of distortion, but otherwise would not be acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc. Plays with distortion but without jumps or skips - music can be enjoyed but with background noise.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. I would not sell a Fair record.
