Description
Hi and welcome to my auction for this great copy of (The Beatles Rubber Soul 1965 Parlophone PMC 1267)
The Labels have serif typeface on the labels.
PMC 1267
'Printed and made by Garrod & Lofhouse Ltd.' in lower right corner of the rear sleeve.
First so-called 'loud cut' version of Rubber Soul: "Shortly into the production run, EMI decided that Moss had cut the album too loud and ceased production.
After Moss re-cut mono lacquers on November 19, new metal parts were made, and Hayes resumed pressing the album. The albums pressed with stampers generated from the initial lacquers were not destroyed and can be identified by the "-1" following the XEX 579 (Side 1) and XEX 580 (Side 2)

CONDITION:
FRONT SLEEVE:
The cover is in VG+ condition for a 1965 album
Has minor ring wear, and some laminate greasing!! Strong sharp artwork.
SLEEVE REAR:
Has age yellowing the tri flipbacks are fully stuck down, printed and made by (GARROD & LOFTHOUSE LTD patents pending PLC 1267

The ( tracing paper EMITEX) inner paper sleeve is sound but has some yellowing no seam splits VG.
The VINYL itself has some minor surface scratches but nothing significant. It would benefit from cleaning, plays with little static, and dust pops, no skips or jumps!!!
