Description
THE BEATLES: RUBBER SOUL
I will try my best to describe this record as honestly as possible. Photographs are included to help you assess condition and value. I accept that sometime issues like "sound quality" can be subjective so I offer a no quibble return policy if your purchase does not meet your expectations.
After the withdrawl of the "loud cut" and the issuing of the corrective new masters, some records slipped out having the "loud" cut on one side and the newer remastered edition on the flip side. I am led to believe that this is rarer than the straightforward initial 1st pressing.
Brief overview: Some wear to sleeve and vinyl. Audio is a conservative vg+, just a little background noise on Michelle but otherwise closer to excellent.
Parlophone PMC 1267 MONO
1964 Side 1: YEX 579-4 plus 3 (at 9 o'clock) and (at 3 o'clock) T (offset) then GG
Side 2: YEX 580-1 plus 3 and TT
Sleeve: Earnest J Day, laminated front flip back sleeve. Minor wear plus crease to front (see photos). Rear is slightly yellowed and discoloured.
Vinyl: looks clean with only minor a handfull of minor scuffs and light hairlines as evidence of its vintage. Sound is generally close to excellent with minimal background noise and no obvious clicks or pops, a little background noise on Michelle so lets say vg+.
Labels: Some spider trails around the spindle hole and a little spindle wear - check photos.
Inner sleeve: very good, clean with no rips or splits - original (I think).
The record will be posted out in a professional cruciform mailer (pizza box style) with corrugated card stiffeners. The disc will be removed from the outer sleeve prior to shipping. If the inner sleeve is original, I will put the disc in a generic sleeve to avoid damage to the original. The album will also be housed in a PVC protective sleeve.
I don't spend all day hooked up to my computer but will guarantee to answer any questions within 24 hours.
