Description
Note: Please note, my camera is not taking good pictures at present!! The pictures of labels (below) in all my listings show a slight "grain staining" effect. This is not a true reflection of the actual labels; they are much cleaner!
The Beatles - Rubber Soul. Second Pressing. Laminated triple flipback sleeve. "Gramophone Co" and "Sold in the UK" label text. Mono.
UK Press on the Parlophone (Yellow/Black) Label. Released in 1965. Cat No: PMC 1267.
Side 1: Matrix: XEX 579-4. Stampers 3 at 9 o'clock and G/GM at 3 o'clock. The vinyl surface is graded as Excellent (-). There is a small mark across tracks 2 and 3 but play is not affected at all. There are the usual hairlines associated with handling (in and out of inner sleeve). Nothing else!! The record plays perfectly. The label is graded as Excellent with signs of spidering. The spindle is tight.
Side 2: Matrix: XEX 580-4. Stampers nothing at 5 o'clock and GOO at 3 o'clock. The vinyl surface is graded as Excellent. Only extremely faint hairlines associated with handling. The record plays perfectly. The label is graded as Excellent with signs of spidering.The spindle is tight.
The Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve is just too good to be true (but it is!!). Absolutely spotless with very faint signs of mild creasing near the spine. The flipbacks are fully sealed and the spine is beautiful. The sleeve is graded as N Mint overall. The inner is the original EMITEX poly lined type.
