Labels: EXCELLENT +
A clean & bright set with little more than slight wear around each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both playing surfaces are pristine and unmarked in strong daylight and retain all of their deep-gloss factory shine. Closer inspection beneath halogen light reveals nothing more than some faint wispy paper hairlines from the inner-sleeve.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
Available for a very short time on release, this initial cutting was too demanding for record players of the day and the album was quickly re-cut with a less dynamic output. This early copy showcases the sound The Beatles originally intended for this album which has never been matched. This particular example has received some careful play on quality equipment and plays without any significant or major audible faults or wear. Our careful play-check at volume detected only some light background on 'Michelle' which is present on nearly all copies of this album. However, there are no clicks, pops, crackle or any other distractions anywhere.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A highly respectable example of this early cover variant which retains a clean, high-gloss font laminate bearing just a single small 'thumbnail' and spine wrinkle. There is a small bend in the lower right corner but all tips are sharp and unbumped and both opening edges are clean & unworn. The rear panel is clean & unblemished and free from any writing or missing paper. All flipbacks & seams are fully intact and the spine is clean & unworn.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +Clean & crisp with no writing, tears or seam splits.
