The Beatles - Rubber Soul
First Press Loud Cut. Sans serif font. Early mother stampers.

Sleeve = Excellent Garrod & Lofthouse patents pending sleeve is beautiful and shiny on the laminated areas. Only the tiniest hint of ringwear. No writing. Mild corner scuffing. Strong, stiff card sleeve with a great spine. The emitex inner is excellent too. No splits
Vinyl = Very Good to VG+ The vinyl plays through extremely well. Really nice sound. There are hairline marks to both sides, but none that affect play. You really begin to understand why this was named the 'Loud Cut' when you play this pressing. So clear and punchy. The Beatles at their best. Very little surface noise, only noticeable between tracks. Personally, I don't have access to professional cleaning equipment. Although it's not necessarily dirty, I think there is a decent chance that if you cleaned this record, you could lift the audio into 'Excellent'. That's up to you though. My honest grading is that it's easily VG to VG+ in places.

I use proper record mailers with 2 stiffeners for protection. I want you to be happy with your purchase, and do my best to ensure your record reaches you in the condition that it leaves me.
Royal mail currently charge £3.70 for 2nd class recorded, and £4.10 for 1st class recorded.
I will add 30p on for packaging materials. (I actually pay around 60p per record mailer, so make a 30p loss on the postage for each record)

Below are the gradings I follow.
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc. FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
