Description
Great copy of the infamous Hazel Yarwood lacquer cut pressing of Rubber Soul by the Beatles. Regarded as the best sounding press of the album and not often found in this nice condition.
Matrices:
XEX 579-5 1 G
XEX 580-5 2 GM
Vinyl: very nice, VG++. Few hairlines either side. A couple handling marks on side 1 that don’t affect play. Virtually no surface or background noise like crackling or clicking during music. Some mild crackle in between tracks but leaves as soon as music starts. I didn’t hear any loud isolated pops either when I playtested which is nice also. Overall great copy.
Sleeve: decent VG+. Some light staining to the back of the sleeve and the flip back. See photos. Also some minor creasing here and there. See photos. Clean clearly readable spine. Only some rubbing to corners and a little to top edge about 1-2cm long but not very noticeable. Decent VG+.
Original Emitex inner present and in VG+ condition. Some creasing. No splits or tears and the original laminate still attached at both ends in nice condition also.
