Description

A 2nd press of Rubber Soul on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 4/4. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Also included is the original white patent nos inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In fantastic condition and has only seen the light use. Under close inspection we could only make a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. This is most definitely one of the best copies I've auditioned. Super transparency and not a hint of background. The test track is always 'Michelle' - CLEAN...practically nothing in the background very nice and clean. FINAL UPGRADE on the audio. Interference is practically non-existent. All we could detect was a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments. Very very nice...
Cover (Ex) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. A lovely shiny unaged front cover with perhaps a couple of tiny creases. The rear, often the let-down, looks to have avoided most of the usual ageing you find. Just one or two tiny age spots. Edge wear is very light - just a bit on the opening edge. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Lightest ageing. No splits.
