The Beatles – Rubber Soul Mono -5/-5 B&Y UK LP PMC 1267
Item: The Beatles – Rubber Soul Mono UK LP with Black & Yellow labels. When the album was first pressed in 1965 with the -1/-1 matrix the sound was considered too high so had to re-done again hence the -4/-4 matrix which is the most common pressing this is later -5/-5 mono matrix (pressed late 1960's) which is considered to be of a high sound quality pressing. Don't miss this opportunity to buy this -5/5 pressing which is in great condition with a clean sleeve as many tend to be dirty.

Inner Sleeve: EMI Emitex advertising Tracing paper lined inner sleeve with Made In England credit.
Labels: Black & Yellow Parlophone labels with KT tax code on side 1.
Detailed Descriptions
The Sleeve: VG- Still in decent shape by no means a tatty copy with some wear and dirt to the rear and creases to the top right. to the front of the sleeve. The front has some ringwear, creases and has a slight rippled effect. The spine has no damage and is clearly readable.
Inner Sleeve: EX- Has some creases and marks but no seam splits.
The Labels: VG- Has lots of spindle wear and some marks otherwise no damage.
Record Visually Graded: EX Has lots of light scuff marks in strong light but in normal light actually looks to be Near Mint condition. Has one very small dot scratch on the beginning of track Wait. Maybe only a couple of light marks when you look for them overall a great copy that has been well looked after not trashed.
Record Playback: EX Plays well there isn't much surface noise. The dot scratch on the beginning of track "Wait" does produce a click for two rotations and plays through without any skipping or jumping. No skips or jumping anywhere.
I use the following grading system: M=Mint, NM=Near Mint, EX=Excellent, VG=Very Good, G= Good, F=Fair, P=Poor B=Bad
THE RECORD HAS BEEN PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED ON A RECORD CLEANING MACHINE WITH A NON ALCOHOL SOLUTION.
