The Beatles - Rubber Soul album (Mono)

Released December 6th, 1965, Rubber Soul is consistently ranked among the Beatles' finest albums. It is certainly the first major turning point in their musical development. The songs are darker, the lyrics are deeper, and the instrumentation is starting to get more experimental (sitar, anyone?). Coincidentally (hmm...), this was right around the time they met Bob Dylan. You may know that Bobby D was the first person to pass them a spliff. I mean, look at the cover. Anyway, whatever it was, it worked. 
Rubber Soul went to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Albums chart on January 8th, 1966 and stayed there for four straight weeks.

Vinyl Condition

The vinyl is play graded Very Good (VG+). There are a few louder pops here and there, but overall it is pretty clean. There are no skips. There are a few hairline scratches that don't really detract from the look of it. The vinyl is very glossy.

Both labels are clean. 


Cover Condition

The cover is graded Excellent (EX) due only to the back cover not being as white as it should be for a NM grade. Colors are vivid. Edges and spine are all super nice. This is a keeper cover.

No writing, splits, or stickers

This is a beautiful cover. I almost hate to part with it, but mine is fine. And I can't keep everything.


Inner Sleeve Condition

The inner sleeve is graded Very Good (VG) due 3-4" splits in the middle of all three sides. It looks really good other than that though.


Careful Packaging

Record will be packed in standard cardboard mailer with cardboard filler pieces on each side. Vinyl will be removed from the sleeve (where applicable) and placed in a generic sleeve to help prevent damage due to jostling during shipping. Both will be placed in a protective plastic sleeve. I've bought a couple hundred records on eBay recently and I've seen how bad and how good packaging can be. Trust me, I will do what I can to make sure your record gets to you undamaged!
