The Beatles – Rubber Soul : Parlophone – PMC 1267 UK first pressing 1965 vinyl LP in very good condition.
Vinyl: VG, Clean glossy vinyl with a few scuffs and light scratches on both sides. Nothing deep or feelable, plays through with no jumps or skips. Sounds very good, some light crackle to be expected but a very good listen. Cover: VG+, Nice cover, no tears or writing, a couple of small age spots on rear. Original emitex inner. Crease on bottom right corner. Price sticker on the front, 32 Shillings! Matrix: XEX 579 -1 HD 2 / XEX 580 -1

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc. FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

First so-called 'loud cut' version of Rubber Soul: "Shortly into the production run, EMI decided that Moss had cut the album too loud and ceased production. After Moss re-cut mono lacquers on November 19, new metal parts were made, and Hayes resumed pressing the album. The albums pressed with stampers generated from the initial lacquers were not destroyed and can be identified by the "-1" following the XEX 579 (Side 1) and XEX 580 (Side 2) matrix numbers..."
