Description

The UK Stereo 1st press of RS is typically very expensive...I'm referring to the 2/2 version [$$$]. One way of side stepping this level of expense and getting an early stereo cut is...>>> Get a Dutch stereo 1st press from 1965 which was taken direct from UK metal parts -- it was the 2/3 UK metal parts that were used [inbetween 2/2 and 3/3]. Vinyl comes housed in the original UK stereo 1st cover - this was typical for Danish/Dutch releases of Beatles in the MId-sixties.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In great condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side and a trail - nothing heavy or nasty though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly up around the excellent level with marginal deviation in a couple of spots. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Good clean audio - even in the lowkey moments. You might pick out a few crackles in a couple of isolated spot per side.. An excellent strike rate by any measure...If you wanted a lovely solid early in stereo cut from UK metal parts this player...is VERY reasonably priced...well worth thinking about! 
Cover (Vg+) In nice condition with a clean front. The Rear exhibits some slight ageing in spots - but not too bad really....The cover retains excellent rigidity. Spine 90% intact.
