THE BEATLES - 'RUBBER SOUL'

Superb UK 1st STEREO pressing from December 1965 on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3075

Matrix numbers: YEX 178-2 & YEX 179-2

With "Sold in UK" on the label

Housed in a tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover & original rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.


CONDITION   Disc: EXCELLENT +
 This well looked-after example has been little played. Both labels are super-clean with just a few spindle trails. Both playing surfaces retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shine bearing little more than a handful of light fingernail scuff lines on side 2, side 1 is unmarked. This early stereo mix was quickly replaced but this earliest pressing highlights the warmth and presence only present on these earliest of copies.    Cover: EXCELLENT + A 1st-class example which is clean & firm throughout. All corners are sharp and square and both opening edges clean & undamaged. The flipbacks, seams and spine are in perfect condition. Tough to find better.
