Description
The Beatles – Rubber Soul (UK 1st Press MONO "Loud Cut") – PMC 1267 – 1965 – Complete with Original Inner Sleeve
Offered here is a highly desirable first UK mono pressing of Rubber Soul on Parlophone (PMC 1267).
This is the sought-after "Loud Cut" version, considered one of the rarest and best-sounding early UK pressings. It features the serif text labels and the original Garrod & Lofthouse laminated flipback sleeve.
Matrix / Runout:
Side A: XEX 579-1
Side B: XEX 580-1
Condition: Original laminated flipback cover in VG condition. The front retains a beautiful glossy shine with normal signs of age and handling. The rear has light discoloration, minor seam wear along the outer edge and a few small scuffs. Includes the original inner sleeve (OIS).
The vinyl is strong VG, showing only fine hairlines and light marks; clean labels. It plays well overall, with some light background crackle mostly noticable in quieter passages. A very enjoyable copy of this increasingly scarce UK 1st Press Mono "Loud Cut".
