Description
The Beatles - Rubber Soul (UK Vinyl Mono LP 1965 3rd Pressing PMC 1267)
1965 UK 3rd Pressing. Garrod & Lofthouse front laminated flipback sleeve and XEX 579-5/XEX 580-5 matrix numbers.
The Vinyl is in Very Good condition. Glossy vinyl and great audio. There are light surface hairlines and some light scratches. There are some light crackles in some of the quieter passages of music and some clicks on Side 1 tracks 5 & 7. There is also a tiny scratch at the start of Side 2 track 4 whish produces some light clicks.
The front laminated flipback sleeve is in Very Good condition. Clean spine. Some scuffs on the bottom edge and near the bottom edge on the front cover. There is a name written on the top left on the front cover but it is only visible in certain lights. There is a red pen mark near the top edge on the back cover. There is some sticker residue on the top right corner on the front cover.
The original poly-lined inner sleeve is in Excellent condition with no seam splits.

I ALWAYS PLACE THE RECORD OUTSIDE THE OUTER SLEEVE TO ENSURE THERE IS NO DAMAGE TO THE SLEEVE IN TRANSIT. I ONLY USE THE HIGHEST GRADE PACKAGING TO ENSURE THE RECORDS ARRIVE IN THE CONDITION I STATE IN MY LISTINGS.
Grading
I grade all my records using the Record Collector's Grading System which is as follows:
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent - The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits discoloration etc.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/ or defaced.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
