Description
This is an original UK mono pressing of The Beatles - Rubber Soul (note not the "loud cut" mix). Released in 1965, this record is 50 years old and in brilliant condition. My father-in-law is downsizing his extensive record collection, this is an original release and has been very well taken care of over the years - grab yourself a gem!
This is on yellow Parlophone labels, PMC1267. The matrices are: Side 1 - XEX 579-4 Side 2 - XEX 580-4
The labels are clean and with just a few spindle marks when turned to the light. There is some (small) writing on side 1 (see photo). No visible surface marks on the vinyl, and the inner sleeve is tracing-paper-lined "Use Emitex" die-cut.
The sleeve is front laminated Garrod & Lofthouse, triple flipback. Spine is uncreased and easily readable. The front is excellent and has no creases or splits. The back is just as excellent with a tiny bit of writing (see photo). Absolutely excellent for its age (50 this year in fact!), as you can see by the photos. Priced to sell.
