Description

You are bidding on an original Beatles album from 1965. It was their sixth chart topping album in the UK, released in time for Christmas '65 and spent 8 weeks at the top of the charts. Tracks include 'Drive my car' and 'Michelle' (which topped the charts for the Overlanders). The vinyl is in good condition, bearing in mind it is 51 years old and has been used. The sleeve has folds on its corners. The art work is in good condition but the album sleeve is worn at the edges and the spine of the album. It is not in pristine condition but more than acceptable (it adds to the used look, I think). Please note - I bought this second hand (one of the topics of work I was teaching was the 1960s) and it has three price labels still attached ( i don't want to remove them in case I damage the front jacket - I'll leave that to the winner of the lot). Of interest is some information by the record label CBS which says records are a great gift, attractive and easy to store (agreed) and they are convenient (not agreed with in 2016!)
