A GREAT SOUNDING COPY OF THE BEST CUT 4/4
Discogs blurb: The Second pressing of “Rubber Soul” has the “normal” cut matrixes XEX 579-4 / XEX 580-4 and has the matrix number printed on the label aligned or misaligned to the datestamp.
'KT' stamped on the centre label side A or B.
The mono covers of the 2nd pressing were manufactured by G & L or Ernest J. Day.
Inner sleeve: Tracing-rice-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut sleeve.
There are at least two subtypes which feature differences in printing type in the song title and artist name. 1) One of them was printed in the "Roman" type. 2) The remainder were printed in the "Sans Serif" type.
Condition and details below:
Front cover has some light edge creasing, but VG+ to Ex. ,,,,,Rear has a few marks , no scribbles and very clean in the main = VG+ ....use emitex inner slight split on bottom and a little discoloured = VG+ ....Labels and vinyl visually excellent, no major marks.... Playback side one = perfect, no major background noise, no loud ticks or jumps - excellent sound quality; .....side two = excellent throughout as well. A GREAT SOUNDING COPY OF THE BEST CUT , 4/4 ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT THIS LP IS AN AGED, USED ITEM, AND WILL NOT LOOK OR PLAY LIKE NEW. I always try to give a fair overview of condition and a selection of photos, which give an indication of what you are buying/bidding on.
I always play test and give a fair appraisal of how the LP sounds on my system; this is always a subjective thing, and so may vary on others - If there are any flaws or jumps detected I will mention this and it will be reflected in the price/starting bid; NB: sometimes items may benefit from further cleaning etc.
Postage is as stated, usually, UK, 2nd class signed for and international sales through ebay's GSP.
My gradings are through the recognised Goldmine standard, and as accurate as I can make them (although please bear in mind it is still subjective and mistakes can occur ) :) - please let me know if there are any issues
