Description
I found a
collection of vinyl records in my grandma’s basement. Most of these records
have probably been down there for about 50 years. Sorry, I do not have a record
player so I cannot be sure of the sound. To be honest, I don’t know much about
records so I’m just starting the bidding at $5.00. Please keep checking my
other listings as I continue to sort through grandma's record collection. I will
post a few new records every Tuesday evening (Pacific) and I’ll relist anything
that doesn’t sell. If there is something specific you are looking for, please
send me a direct message and I'll check.
Specifics for this listing
The edge of the
cover says... I'll be honest, this cover is in rough shape. That's why I am including some bonus items with this record. Keep reading til the end! The upper right front corner says File Under: The Beatles T 2442 with Capitol Records just below. The back of the cover says HIGH FIDELITY RECORDING ALSO AVAILABLE IN STEREO.
The outer cover
has some extreme wear and tear along the corners and edges, and it looks like my grandma really liked this cover.
The record itself does not have any scratches, but the fingerprints again suggest that my grandma played this record more than once.
The etching on the vinyl near the label says
T-1-2442-G-121 on Side 1 and T-1-2442-F on Side 2. [At least I think that's
what it says, it's difficult to be sure].
The original paper inner sleeve is original, in okay shape with a slight tear along one edge.
BONUS STUFF INCLUDED WITH THIS ITEM: The White Album (record only, Side 1 and Side 2 both in very good condition), PLUS 4 excellent 8x10 photos (John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, George Harrison), BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE, you'll also get an okay condition poster that has lyrics on one side and a collection of Beatles pics on the other (I'm guessing this was included in the original White Album). To be clear, the second record and the cover for the White Album were never located in grandma's basement.
These items will
be sent in a REINFORCED bubble wrapped protective envelope via USPS Media Mail and
I will provide buyer with a TRACKING number.
Please send me a direct message if you would like me to
provide additional photos of any part of the items in this listing.
