Wonderful first issue of Rubber soul. This is the loud cut version with the matrix numbers xex 579-1 589-1. The stampers are strange? Letter c at 9o'clock side 1 and PR at 3 o clock. Side two the label is upside down so the number 3 at 9oClock & RT at 3 o'clock. The vinyl is very shiny with the slightest of sleeve withdrawal wispy lines & not many at all. There are a few small non feelable scuffs a few mm each & they don't effect play at all...the sound is great through out with only some crackle on Michelle. I've read quite a few reviews of this version & why the mix was changed ..vocals loud & distorted (there's no distortion)too much bass, In my opinion it's raw & has more edge, sounding like the earlier Beatles. The cover is the rarer E J Day with the 6512 LL code & is intact with a clean legible spine with no splits & only minor scuffs tho there is some discoloration & scuffing at the bottom of the sleeve on the back. Seen in the pics. I've tried to take pics of any minor marks. I've got second press copies & the half loud cut & this sounds the best..tho of course that's just my opinion.why sell it then!?..we'll...because I've got another...Any questions just ask. I'll combine postage for two records at no extra cost.
