Description
Here we have a superb copy of The Beatles-Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.
**FULLY CLEANED & PLAYTESTED**
This is a 1967 Stereo 1st UK Press- the matrix numbers are;
YEX 637-1
YEX 638-1 see photos for close ups.
This is in beautiful lightly played condition as shown in the photos.
We have cleaned the record in our amazing Degritter ultrasonic cleaner and the vinyl has come up spotless and so glossy. There is a fine hairline on Side 1 but otherwise barely any marks.
Most importantly it played superbly. Incredible stereo imagery and a wide soundscape- this made our hi fi system sing! Abbey Road top class mastering at its best!
Needless to say there were NO playback issues- no jumping, sticking or pops. The vinyl sits flat on the turntable with clean labels and spindle holes.
The gatefold sleeve is fully laminated and is in similar great condition with only slight laminate lift & a few creases. No writing, stains or tears.
The original Peter Blake cut- out sheet is included and is in immaculate condition.
We have popped the record into a brand new anti static poly lined sleeve to keep it pristine & static free after cleaning.
We have taken lots of photos so you can see exactly what you are buying. Please check all pictures as they form part of the description. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.
A great opportunity to own a 1st press iconic piece of rock history in fully cleaned & tested condition- ready to pop straight onto your turntable & enjoy!
