Description
The Beatles SGT PEPPER'S Original CAPITOL LP release from 1967 in MONO MAS 2653 1st press matrix #s ending with G22/G16#2 the JACKSONVILLE pressing from the summer of 1967 when MONO was transitioning to STEREO and a relatively few records in MONO where pressed with jackets that put NEMS publishing credit on the lower left horizontally and had not yet put the Maclan credit on the right, which when they did, Nems was transfered to the right vertically along the spine where it would remain after that the fact that this is a JACKSONVILLE pressing and has the NEMS credit on the left makes this a relatively rare issue the original pink and red inner sleeve is included but not the cut out insert
VINYL - VG+ Dark black and glossy. Scuffs and hairlines that have little affect on playback. Clean labels. No "With" in front of "A Little Help From My Friends" denotes a 1st pressing. A really nice player.
JACKET - VG+ Nice and tight. Very little shelf wear. Centered and completely legible spine. Some corner and edge wear. No names, stains, dents, rips, seam splits, ring wear, cut outs, punch holes, stickers or stamps. Original inner sleeve does have splits in the middle of the bottom and on one side.
