Description
I'm sure that you don't need the usual 'spiel' about how great this record is and what a game-changer it was - you know the album and you've probably heard it a thousand times, just like me.
This is a lovely copy of this classic record (see below for gradings) with all the 'first press' characteristics:
- The 'Gamophone UK' text on the label.
- The 'Sold in the UK....' text on the label
- G&L laminated gatefold sleeve with visible flaps inside the gatefold.
- YEX 637 - 1 and YEX - 638 - 1 matrices.
- Unusually, it has the 'K' tax code on the A label but (as far as I can see) not the 'T' tax code on the other side.
- Mother/stampers: Side 1: 2 AOT Side 2: 2 - APP
Record: VG++. Very nice. It has a lovely sheen and the great sound of Mono. A couple of (very very minor) marks but they do not affect the sound at all. Record play-tested all the way through.
Insert: Excellent, the best I've ever seen.
Sleeve: Around VG+/VG++, laminated front. A couple of small creases and slight 'bumping' to the corners, hence the cautious grading. Inner: VG+. A little creased. Labels: VG++. No major issues just the 'usual' signs of it having been played a little over the years - and so it should have been!
Any questions - please ask.
All my records and CD's are very well packed in thick cardboard (check out the feedback). I like my items to arrive in the same condition that they left me.
