 Extraordinarily rare Capitol Records promotional issue with the blue ink “FREE PROMOTIONAL ALBUM NOT TO BE SOLD” rubber stamp that was received by radio stations and the press several weeks prior to the album's release. Ultra rare contract issue DECCA plant pressing, Gloversville, NY. The bottom right-hand corner of the back cover contains the RIAA 3 number. Original Capitol Records T-2080 mono catalog number unique double 1” and 2’75 diameter pressing ring label with a multicolored spectrum band along the label's edge and without the "subsidiary" print. Very early first day pressing with the very early first print label variation showing "You Can't Do That" with the timing of 2:23 which was very quickly changed to 2:33. Side 2 label without the timing for the "Long Tall Sally" and "I Call Your Name" tracks. Original very early thick vinyl pressing with the hand written first matrix numbers in the trail-off vinyl (dead wax) Side 1 - T1 2080 T4 I / Side 2 - T2 2080 T3 I. Original 1st East Coast release contract pressing DECCA Records, Gloversville, New York, plant pressing as identifiable by the 'I' stick stamped in the trail-off vinyl on both sides. Original Capitol Records blue printed paper inner sleeve with adverts for other Capitol Records releases.

I grade the cover as Excellent Minus. It's very clean overall. Some light scuffing on the red "Beatles" banner on the front cover along with some light shelf wear on the back. The spine and edges are in perfect condition and don't have any wear or splits. The glossy vinyl is graded as Very Good Plus. It has some light hairlines and scuffs, most likely from the original blue inner sleeve, which is in Near Mint condition. The labels in Excellent Minus condition are very clean, only having some light scuffing. The vinyl sounds great with some light occasional background noise, which is most likely just static and will get reduced or go away completely if the record is professionally cleaned using a VPI cleaning machine.
