Description

Up for sale is this original first mono vinyl pressing of ’Sgt Pepper’ by The Beatles issued in the summer of 1967 in The United Kingdom. The wide spine laminated cover is in very good+ condition with light laminate creases. The 1967 pressing record is also in very good+ shape with light playwear, but really ‘Rocked Out’ today all the way through on my Thornes td 320 turntable with the amazing true mono mix, freshly tube cut from the original mono analogue master tapes at Abbey Road Studios. Now I know why John Lennon said “You really never have heard Pepper until you hear the mono mix”. On side 2 there is a ‘KT’ tax code by the spindle hole. Also included is the original thick cardboard cutout sheet & the original inner sleeve. Thanks Frank
