Decent playing copy of The Beatles pioneering psychedelic opus Sgt Pepper from 1967.
This is the UK stereo 1st press with the black and yellow Parlophone labels, top centrefold flipback and the matrices YEX 637 -1 and YEX 638 -1, plus the groovy red and white design inner sleeve.
The fully laminated gatefold sleeve has a very worn spine which has been taped, and there is a tear to the back cover that has been carefully repaired. Otherwise there's some bottom edge wear and laminate wrinkles common with this sleeve.
The vinyl plays through very well despite some surface scuffs and lines, and one feelable scratch on Side 1. A little surface noise here and there and the odd tic but nothing major to spoil your listening pleasure.
The labels are excellent with very little wear and the KT tax raised lettering on Side 2.
The original inner has a couple of repairs but no seam splits.
A decent playing copy and a competitive start price for a UK stereo first pressing.
