Description
Sgt Pepper UK Mono First Pressing .
Side 1 Matrix XEX 637-1, Mother: 2, Stamper: AOL.
Side 2 Matrix XEX 638-1, Mother: 9, Stamper: AAL.
KT Tax Code embossed on Side 1 label.
Matrix numbers are visible in photos 7 and 8, you might need to zoom in to see them.
Though it has some scuffs and superficial scratches, the vinyl is in nice condition and both sides play through without any skips or jumps. There is a small amount of surface noise in quiet passages and between songs, but it does not overpower the music. This is a good sounding record, especially considering its age.
The Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold sleeve is in good condition. It's close to being Very Good, but does have some minor corner damage, the laminate on the centre of the inside gatefold has cracked a bit, the spine is partially worn and there is a very slight ring impression on the back. There is an approx 2 inch seam repair along the bottom. Unfortunately, there is no Sgt Pepper insert or 'flame' inner sleeve.
Sent with new anti static inner sleeve. Please study the photos to get a better idea of the item's condition. Condition is Very Good for vinyl and Good Plus for the sleeve. Sent with Australia Post Standard.
