Description
The Beatles, Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, Stereo 2 box EMI with PCS.7027 label variation and a mono/stereo hybrid cover.
The cover is in superb condition with just a small bump on the bottom right corner of the front panel. The laminate is possibly the shiniest I have seen and the gatefold still cracks when opened. What makes this sleeve rare is the fact that it has stereo printed on the top right of the rear but "a mono recording" to the bottom right, a true hyrid.
I have just replayed the disc and the deep grooves play superb with just the odd pop here and there, there are no skips/jumps etc.
The labels are in brilliant condition and have the rare period "dot" after PCS but before 7027 so read PCS.7027 and not PCS7027 as in regular versions.
The vinyl has a very deep shine with no marks that I can see, a truely lovely piece of vinyl.
Stampers are AGO2 and GD1.
This album comes with its cut out sheet intact and a sepia/maroon inner sleeve advertising Abbey road and Let it Be amongst others.
A really nice package of a rear Pepper with 2 variations.
