Description
For auction is a very playable 1st UK stereo issue of The Beatles’ iconic Sgt Pepper album. - LP. Comes complete with original red inner and cut out insert sheet.
Original first press gatefold sleeve close to VG+. Corner and edgewear it no rips or tears. Spine slight wear but fully readable. Indentations/scratches to rear (see photo) which have not gone through to the card beneath.
Original first issue red patterned inner sleeve is VG+ with minor creases and a small edge tear on bottom edge.
Original cut out insert sheet fully intact and in excellent condition
Record is visually close to VG+. Some scuffs and hairlines but no feelable scratches. Scratch mark on side two label only real issue there.
Most of album plays as a VG+, with occasional crackles. Track one of both sides have surface noise early in the track. Lucy in the Sky has a handful of quiet clicks. End of final track also has some surface noise. No sticks skips or jumps. Therefore I am grading as VG.
