Description
PMC7027 A 1st pressing from 1967 on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix -1/-1 . Stampers 1-MGR/3-ATR . The record comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse flipback cover. White inner sleeve included. There are no cut-outs.
Vinyl (Ex-) Remains in very good condition and has been well cared for. A close inspection reveals a couple of very light marks on either side - nothing feelable. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a near Excellent level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with very little interefernce. One or two intros exhibit a couple of low-level crackles, but this is pretty minor and the exception to the rule. The actual audio quality really is top notch and makes you realise why folk hold out for these original mono copies.
Cover (Ex) A real beauty. Apart from a light dink to the top of the spine there's precious little wear to speak of. The cover has a nice newish rigid feel to it and even the openings feel 'sharp'. The spine, which is so often worn, remains intact with all text still readable.
