Description
This is a gatefold stereo copy of The Beatles “Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band” as issued by Mobile Fidelity. The record is in excellent condition with no scratches or scuffs. When I first bought it used, I cleaned it with a VPI record cleaner, and treated it with LAST record preservative. The record has been properly stored in a smoke free environment since I originally purchased it. Recently I recleaned the record with Audio Intelligent fluids on my VPI record cleaner and ran it through my Audio Desk Ultrasonic record cleaner. It has also been demagnetized it with a Furutech DeMag. Playing it recently with a VPI turntable, 3D arm, and Lyra Parnassus cartridge, the record plays very quietly although is one light tick in the “A Little Help from my Friends”, one light tick on “Getting Better”, one light tick on “She’s Leaving Home”, one light tick on “Within You Without You”, four light ticks on “When I’m Sixty-Four”, three light ticks on “A Day in the Life”, and some light surface noise on the fade-out to side 2. The songs include: Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band; A Little Help From My Friends; Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds; Getting Better; Fixing a Hole; She’s Leaving Home; Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!; Within You Without You; When I’m Sixty-Four; Lovely Rita; Good Morning, Good Morning; Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise); and A Day in the Life. The record does not includes the insert with the cut-outs. I do not know whether it was issued with the cut-outs. Multiple LPs can be combined in a shipment to save shipping costs.
