The Beatles, Sgt Pepper - 1991 First Pressing, Direct Metal Master, Vinyl LP.


For sale is a first pressing of the notable 1991 special edition of Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, on Parlophone.


This particular copy of the world’s most famous album “has been direct metal mastered from a digitally re-mastered original tape to give the best possible sound quality”. The album is complete with its original cut out.


I can only grade visually, but the vinyl looks to be in really excellent, glossy, condition, and with few if any spindle marks to the labels. The matrices confirm this as a first pressing:


Matrix (Side A runout): YEX 6 37-7-1-1 D

Matrix (Side B runout): YEX 6 38-7-1-2 D


The cover has just a few storage wear marks, but is otherwise in very good condition with an excellent spine.
