The Beatles Sgt. Pepper Stereo UK 1st Press PCS7027 with rare label misprint and absolutley superb condition.
This impressive 1st UK stereo pressing dates from initial June 1967 release on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 7027 Both labels include the 'Sold in U.K...' text with a 'KT' purchase tax code in the centre of the side 1 label. 
The side 1 label has a small variation; an extra dot in the 'Sold In U.K...' text, after the word 'In' so reads "Sold In .U.K".  
Matrix numbers: YEX 637-1 & YEX 638-1 Stamper codes: 2/TO & 4/GDP Vinyl weight: 156g  
Housed in a fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo gatefold cover. Complete with its original red & white design inner-sleeve & unused cut out sheet. 
CONDITION: Disc: EXCELLENT  Both playing surfaces are clean & bear no noticeable marks or wear in strong daylight. Closer examination beneath halogen light reveals only some harmless wispy marks from the inner-sleeve and turntable contact. Audibly, all tracks play with a warmth & clarity one would expect from a true 1st pressing, with just the usual trace of background on 'She's Leaving Home' but no clicks, pops or any other distractions.     
Cover: EXCELLENT + A 1st class example of this iconic  cover-type which retains a totally unscratched high-gloss laminate inside and out. There are no 'thumbnail' wrinkles on the front panel or rear panel and only a couple of light spine bends visible from front only. All corners and opening edge are totally unworn, as are both panels in side the gatefold. There is some delamination on the spine but it is clean and all of the wording is intact and clear and both seams are smooth & unstressed. 
Inner-sleeve: NEAR MINT Clean & crisp with no writing, tears or seam splits. 
Cut-out Sheet: Very near MINT.
Play tested 4/6/26: Very very nice sounding record, with hardly any background noise or any static. No skips jumps pops or clicks.
