Well, folks, The Oldrocker is back and it's time to downsize my life. I just turned 60 and some of my many collectibles have just got to go. Next up is a Stereo copy of SPLHCB, PCS7027, all the way from the United Kingdom. This is a good time to pick up one of these UK first printings and not have to pay a huge, overseas shipping charge. No, this is not mint. But it is complete, nice and very presentable. First, the cover. Still glossy, no writing, soft corners, no distracting creases. The cover spine does show wrinkling due to being a gatefold cover, but the printing is still readable. Secondly, the vinyl. Still glossy and shiny, very little wear, colorful labels and no writing. The matrix numbers are YEX 637-1 and YEX 638-1. I have never played the record so I cannot attest to it's playability. It should play nicely, I just don't know. Thirdly, the inner sleeve. Super nice, outstanding edges and all three sides intact with no splitting. Fourthly, the insert. Still crisp, no creases. And, finally, the guaranty. As always, if you aren't happy with any of my "stuff' you can return it for a full refund of the purchase price. I do ask that you foot the bill for the return postage.
