VERY RARE FIRST MONO PRESSING!

The MONO mix of Sgt. Pepper is very different to the stereo mix, which has been the only available version for the last 35 years. There are many subtle and more obvious differences, and last but not least, MONO was the way the Beatles intended their fans to hear this record!

Here we have a true UK first pressing from 1967! And it is in really great condition which makes you believe it was sent directly from the summer of love to 38 years later, spring 2005, in a time machine! Only upon closer inspection, you find some slight marks of usage which do not detract from the overal fantastic condition of this collector's item!

The correct flipback & gatefold cover made by Garrod & Lofthouse is in EX condition!
The record is in STUNNING  NM condition on side 1 and EX on side 2, due to surfacial marks there. No scratches!
It plays just beautifully with the slightest background crackle between songs on side 2 only. Otherwise perfect.
The labels are a fantastic NM, making you wonder whether this record has been played 3 or 5 times, maybe. WOW!
The original cut-out sheet with mustache etc. is as well NM!
