The Beatles Sgt. Peppers - 1967 Mono Vinyl LP (PMC 7027)
It would be difficult to find a copy that is in such good condition with only a few minor surface scratches which do not affect the sound quality
This album is a first pressing released in June 1967.
The Beatles - Sgt Pepper was their 8th album. It was released on 1st June 1967 and spent 23 weeks at No1 and a 148 weeks in the charts
This is a first press which has the yellow block writing PARLOPHONE. The All Rights of manufacturer message on the edge starts with `The Gramaphone Co Ltd`
The inside sleeve is the original red and white but is split. The cover is laminated shows wear markings with some discolouration due to ageing. The cover has Printed and made by Garrod and Lofthouse on the back
The vinyl is in very good condition on both sides with a few surface scratches but plays with high quality with only a slight crackle on side 2 track 2
The label is in silver and black and with Parlophone in yellow PMC 7027
Side 1 -XEX 637-1 (1 GAP)
Side 2 - XEX 638-1 (3 GAP)
