This is a really nice, complete copy of the iconic Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band LP and it is in the much favoured and original Mono.
The record itself, on both sides, has minimal surface marks. A fantastic, shiny, lustreful vinyl surface to both sides and I would say in Excellent condition. It has the First Press KT Purchase Tax stamp on the Side Two spindle and really, looking at the spindle holes, I can only see odd rubs, but no real wear.
The label has the First Press ''SOLD IN THE U.K. SUBJECT TO RESALE PRICE CONDITIONS, SEE PRICE LISTS'' under the yellow Parlophone and it has ''THE GRAMOPHONE CO LTD.'' around the rim.
The Matrices, Mothers & Stampers are for Side One XEX 637-1, Mother '2' & Stamper 'GDA' or '103' and on Side Two XEX 638-1, Mother '2', Stamper 'GRH' or '127'. So, nice low Mothers and Stampers.
It has the original and now very rare 'Fools Inner', which is the red and white flame like EMI sleeve, with 'Made in Great Britain - Patent Pending', whih is fully intact, no seam splits at all, just a little creasing, as can be seen in the photos. To find one that is not torn or split is a fantastic find in itself!
It also has the original cardboard cut-out inserts, which are in superb condition, with no marks, stains or anything. They must have just stayed in the LP cover for 46 years!
The fully laminated Peter Blake 'gatefold' Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve is in the correct Mono and in nice, strong condition, with no damage, no ink or biro names or intitals, just a little wear in the obvious handling places, like corners, opening and spine, but nice, original and complimenting the package.
I am only selling in the UK. Postage is quoted for a strong mailer, too. It is only quoted up to the value of £50.00, so please wait until I invoive you, should the record go for above this amount, as it must be sent Guaranteed Next Day Delivery, due to value and insurance.
Many thanks.
