Description
Item: 1967 first press Mono version, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album by The Beatles. The mono versions, such as this example, are more valuable than the stereo versions, perhaps because there are more stereo versions out there (so the mono records would be more scarce). This example is a nice, heavy Scranton pressing with the "IAM" triangle in the deadwax. As you'd want to see, there is no mention of Maclen Music or Nems on the lower right back corner area. And, as you'd ideally want to find, the album is complete with the original psychedelic inner sleeve and gimmick cut-outs cardboard insert. Notice the error, "A Little Help From My Friends" (no "With")!
This record was procured with many other Beatles albums from an estate in Boston Massachusetts. This record is a "cut out" which is rare for such a popular record. As you can see a hole has been punched through the entire cover and contents on the he upper right corner. Upon inspection you will indicate normal age, wear, and blemishing to the record and cover. Please see pics! This item has not been cleaned or restored in any way since estate procurement. See our other listed Beatles records currently listed.
