Description

Sgt. Pepper on the UK Parlophone label from 1972. Matrix -1/-2. The record states 'Gramophone' in the perimeter text which dates it to 1972 for a UK pressing. The record comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Also included are the original cut-outs. These early 70's copies were still tube-cut and manufactured using the same process as those great copies from the 60's. And for the record [pardon the pun] this is a blindingly good rendition of SPLHCB.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) This LP has seen very very minimal use and is shiny like new. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks - these are very very feint paper removal marks nothing remotely feelable or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. The audio playback is absolutely top notch with barely a hint of background interference. Intros and inbetweens are practically silent and the audio comes across with amazing clarity, bags of detail, and perfect tonal balance. All I could pick up interference wise was a couple of crackles in 'She's Leaving Home' and then again right in the outro to ADITL. Why pay more for a copy if it sounds this good?
Cover (Ex+) Again, in remarkably well preserved condition. The front and rear are shiny like new. There's practically no edge wear to speak of and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover has excellent rigidity which totally belies its age.

Cut-Outs (Ex) Great condition. A couple of light creases, but in otherwise perfect condition.

Any purchase is guaranteed to get to you quickly, safely, and with total satisfaction, or your money back.

Please check out my other LP's for sale....include early Two-Boxers in pristine condition.
