DESCRIPTION: Beatles- Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band LP. 1ST UK STEREO pressing with YEX 637-1/ YEX 638-1 matrix, psychedelic paper inner, original thick card with darker colours and G&L fully laminated sleeve with flipbacks to top edge of interior and possible wide spine- im unsure if its just very well preserved or is genuinely wider than usual. "Gramophone Co", "Sold In UK " and "Made In Great Britain" to labels.

CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/VG+. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen and some light scuffing and light hairlines. Played all of this tonight. It has a light edgewarp easily visible on side 1 playback, less so on side 2 that has no effect on playback. Music is generally clean,clear and loud. It plays a very decent VG with some soft ticks and a trickle of background sound in the outro at the end of side 2. Cover is in nice clean condition and is very near to EX, if not actually EX with light edgewear, moderate corner-wear and light creasing. Very clean interior to sleeve and undamaged flipbacks. Nice shape to fully legible spine. Imnot sure if its the "wide-spine" version or is just very well preserved. Psychedelic inner has only light wear and a split to centre of bottom edge only. Insert is better than EX ,little sign that it has left the sleeve. Clean labels. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Check out the photos.

I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 40-50 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades.
