**The words "The Beatles" are in different positions on the label for each side, Side 1 has "Beatles" to right of Center Hole, Side 2 has "Beatles" directly over center hole. The letters are the Bold Larger Faced font size. "Sgt Pepper's......" in different places on both sides of Label. Side 1 off center to left, side 2 more centered. ***

**THIS IS ABSOLUTE FIRST PRESS, I saw 20 other people on ebay trying to claim there's is a first press, this is only one online right now!**
DISC: G+/VG- with many numerous light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some abusive needle drags. A few of the hairs and needle drags are felt to touch. Some heavy groove wear from repeat play. NO luster remains, labels are mostly clean, some spindle wear and rub wear. There will be some constant static background noise throughout playback with BOLD audio. Faint crackles, and some audible "pop"s throughout playback, constant noise, but Booming Bold analog sound! Still an acceptable copy, most of value comes from absolute rarity vs sound quality. This was a very first press issue, sold the week it came out in 1967, and MONO on top of that!
COVER: GOOD with heavy fade and moderate ring wear. Many creases and light scrape marks around cover art from handling, some corner bends. There is writing on the cover in a few spots. Spines are 80% mostly intact with heavy shelf wear fray, title spine partially legible (off center towards back cover) with some fray patches and wear. Some light stains in some places, heavy chipping to edges and spines. There is a tear along the glue seem line on top cover, about 3 inches. Heavy fade ring wear to back cover, large name written across bottom spine. Front half flap of gatefold is split open, so you can insert LP into front half of cover or back half. A small poke through seem split is seen on mid spine of title spine. Small 1/2 inch seem splits to both top spines by insert side. Some corner dings bumps creases etc. Much seem fray. Original!
