The Beatles – Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, 1967 stereo LP Parlophone PCS 7027.
This is a nice example of the LP Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band by The Beatles. It was released on the Parlophone label in 1967 – PCS 7027. The matrix numbers are XEX 637-1 and XEX 638-1. The stamper numbers on side one are the number 1 at the 9:00 position and GA at 3:00. On side two they are 4 and RO. The record is close to EX condition with just a couple of minor scuff-marks. The only one that looks slightly worrying on the first track on side one can be heard as the very faintest ‘tick’ a few times. You really have to listen out for it and it really is negligible. Both labels are clean with no writing. I can see just a couple of very faint ‘spider marks’.The gatefold cover has some minor rubbing to the corners but still just grades as EX. It still has the original sheet of cut-outs that is complete. And it still has the correct original red / white inner-sleeve – although this has splits to the edges. I was tempted to repair it with tape but will leave that to the new owner. In all it scores around 89/100

TRACKING NUMBER. If an item sells for more than £40, (or for a package that has a total value of more than £40) it will need to be sent with a Tracking Number - the Royal Mail's International Tracked service.
