1st UK pressing with:
• A Garrod & Lofthouse fully laminated one piece gatefold cover (flipback glue-tabs at the top on inner spread);
• A red half-tone print on white 'psychedelic' paper inner sleeve;
• A 'cut-outs' card insert (full-color, single-sided. Printed signatures of Peter Blake / Jann Haworth at foot);
• Black and yellow Parlophone logo labels with silver text:
"The Gramophone Co." in the radial text and
"Sold in U.K. Subject To Resale Price Conditions, See Price Lists" across labels at center, with
"Made in Gt. Britain" at foot.
• Narrow spine. with "Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Patents pending" on back-cover's right lower corner.

THIS COPY: The sleeve has some wear and tear, a bit of rubbing, not much though and it is glossy and clean inside and out, some creasing to laminate on rear and spine but intact, readable, no rips, great condition- please view all photos
The original 'flame' inner is in brilliant condition, looks hardly used which is rare
The cutouts insert is present, intact and in excellent condition
The labels - on side 1 no pen / rips or scratches, very nice; side 2, KT code, no major wear and tear, very nice
The vinyl looks great, hardly any signs of usage. Any light marks from past playing are minimal - very hard to see. and they do not impact play greatly.
How does it play? - well , it's a 1st press/1st mother mono Sgt Pepper, so sounds very good for all that. There are no significant light crackles and pops , a very clean sound all the way through...so it is a very, very enjoyable listen...no skips, no loud background noise. Fantastic!
