Description
Welcome to my listing !
PLEASE read this whole section carefully. It contains important information for overseas buyers
This auction is for....
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
This is the very rare & sought after 2014 MONO pressing.
I bought this new, & over the last 8 years it has only been played 4 or 5 times. It has always been stored in an outer pvc sleeve.
There's 1 crease on the front cover, just below the yellow flowers (9th photo) & there's 1 noticeable mark on side 1 across the first couple of tracks (10th photo). It looks a lot worse than it is & cannot be felt with fingertips. However, I've described it here just so that any buyer is aware of these small imperfections.
They prevent me from grading this as Near Mint, but I'm happy to grade this all as Excellent.
To clear up any doubts, I have today play-tested the record on an audiophile standard system (ProJect 2xperience SB DC, fitted with an Ortofon 2M Blue Cartridge). On this set-up the mark produced NO audible clicks. It played beautifully with clear high frequencies & a rich, deep bass. Other turntables may, of course, produce different results.
A really fantastic listen !
The vinyl has been washed in a Knosti Disco Anti-stat cleaner to prevent any static build up. This cleaning solution can sometimes leave light residue marks on the labels or on the records, but this doesn't effect playback & you can be sure Your record is as clean as possible with no trace of static!
All vinyl graded visually unless stated.
I always grade CONSERVATIVELY. I would prefer any buyer to be surprised with the condition of their record, rather than disappointed.
I will use a purpose made, STRONG cardboard mailer, Your record won't arrive just sandwiched between 2 pieces of card!
P&P is free within the UK only
Overseas Bidders, please note. Overseas shipping is handled by Ebay's overseas shipping programme. I can neither combine, or adjust, the charges that ebay additionally add for this. I just use UK post to send the item to Ebay's UK distribution centre, then they ship it overseas. I don't even see how much Ebay add to the final selling price.
For example.....
Ebay pays to ME the winning amount (minus fees of course)
Ebay invoices YOU (winning bid)+(Ebay's global shipping charges)
Please make sure You understand this before bidding. Also, please make sure that Your country is eligible for the shipping programme! I use the G.S.P. to protect both my buyer & myself.
Furthermore, following recent issues with overseas buyers, if you are outside the UK & you ask to have the item shipped to an independent courier within the UK then I will cancel the sale! Items sent overseas in this way are not covered buy ebay's buyer protection.
All the records I sell come from my own collection. I have limited space, so I have to sell some to make way for new ones!
No download cards are included unless stated in the description.
And finally, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not message me, offering to buy immediately before the auction has finished. From now on I will not respond to these requests.
Thanks for looking :-)
