Selling-up my extensive record collection. Lots of interesting LPs in the collection - do have a look at my other items, and there are new listings every week. Good copy of this, ticks all the boxes for being UK first issue.

Cover - Good but not great - this has quite a lot of scallop creases, and creases coming in from the edges. Front and back show ring-wear, formed to the shape of the record, and taking the shine off the lamination In a big circle. Top of back has indented writing, as if someone has tried to write his name on it in pencil. Losses to lamination and print along spine - which looks narrow type, not pinched. Just tiny bumps / wear to corners. Inside of gatefold is very nice. Not torn or split. If this is the copy I think it is, it had one previous owner with big clumsy hands. Cut-outs sheet is included, in excellent condition. "The Fool" inner also present, in good condition - sellotaped down one edge, some stains on one side.

Record - Side one has a noticeable scratch about 1" long, near the start, and another long scratch, lighter at start, heavier  further in. There are another couple of scratches in the later part. Side 2 has a long light fingernail mark at the start of the side, and a short scratch or fingernail impact at the very start . I have play-tested side one - individual crackles - no more than one per revolution - can be heard here and there, noticeable but not louder than the music. Didn't jump or stop, didn't ever sound like it wanted to. General audio is excellent, sounds just as it should, not worn-out, or scratched-to-death!

I have been collecting records for 50 years (when finances allowed!), and now it's time to sell-up. I bought them mostly around local shops (second-hand), but sometimes from e-bay, and sometimes new, for my favourite bands.

When I'm checking for damage on records, I look at them carefully with my reading glasses on, in good daylight. This method detects any bits of damage that will affect what you hear when listening to it - and lots that are not audible. Using a spotlight or direct sunlight shows more surfacey marks sometimes, but I don't do that - records are for listening to, not trying to see your face in.

I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad. Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer.

They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer.

This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices.

E-Bay UK tells me, they do NOT do combined postage in the Global Shipping Programme. Charges to the customer for delivery are whatever you're told they are - if you don't want to pay the postal / courier charges, then do not bid.

International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, you may have to input your location, if your country is included in the scheme.

If your country is not mentioned, please do not bid.
